Join other BBs at the @kicmke Social Justice Story Time (perfect for ages 0-5) with Rona Wolfe, a kindergarten teacher experienced in discussing big ideas.
Through stories, our kids will meet Martin Luther King Jr. They will be empowered to understand and celebrate our differences while recognizing the similarities and connections we all share.
📖 Rona Kader Wolfe has been a kindergarten teacher and anti-bias educator for 30 years. She is currently working at the UW-Milwaukee Children’s Learning Center as the Administrative Specialist in Anti-Bias/Social Justice Education.
✨Rona will lead kid-friendly discussions about race and racial justice and address how kids can take big actions in small ways. Towards the end of our story time, we will engage the kids in a special on-the-spot service project craft. The agenda will look like this:
📖Listen to three books
🏃♂️Movement break
💭Thoughtful kid-friendly discussion
🎨On-the-Spot Service project craft
